Why D&D?

Here at the Young Adventurer Society we know that weekly roleplay sessions are a sure fire way to build strong friendships and have fun, but there are so many other reasons Dungeons & Dragons is good for developing brains!

Playing D&D builds social literacy while using creativity, math skills, and logic in game play. Each player must know when to demonstrate leadership and when to work collaboratively to find solutions and overcome challenges. D&D provides a safe environment to experiment with healthy risk taking, express and understand emotion, learn to handle failure, and exercise critical thinking skills.

Our in house Dungeon Masters have designed original adventures and created a reduced rule set for our short sessions packed with fun! If your group wants to stick together to continue the adventure with their characters we can book you back in for another 8 week session!

My 14 year old started his quest with the Young Adventure Society as a pre-teen and has thoroughly enjoyed numerous seasonal sessions. Jonathan and Teo are such energetic DMs! My teen has left each week anticipating the next adventure. If you are looking for an activity for your teen or preteen that involves using creativity and imagination without the use of a screen, this is your place! YAS has increased my teen’s self confidence and public speaking skills all while having a blast in an inclusive and fun environment. I can’t recommend this place enough 5 stars!!

My son loves his D&D sessions with Jonathan and looks forward to meeting up every week. The sessions are excellent value for the money and I would recommend to anyone.

Thanks again for delivering such a high quality experience for our kids - they are wholeheartedly choosing this over video gaming which makes the parents very happy!
